Body language

What is body language? What is a nonverbal message? It is everything that our body performs, often without our control. Let's start with the head: head straight or crooked, chin up or down, nodding: yes-yes, shaking head: no-no. And to this, let's add the face, or facial expressions. All facial muscles are involved in facial expressions. Well, unless someone has a problem with it due to intensive cosmetic-surgical procedures, a congenital defect or has developed the so-called poker face, i.e. zero emotion.
Talking body
Someone once said that the eyes are the mirror of the soul. Not only that: eyebrows, eyes, eyelids, lips, chin, shoulders, forearms, hands, legs, feet, back.... Facial expressions, gestures combined with tone and timbre of voice, and only then with the content of words, constitute the whole message, communication. One should not draw conclusions from a single gesture or word - unless they, those gestures or words, are very strong and unambiguous. Then there is no need to hesitate. The body says more than a thousand words - true or false? Truth. Why? Because with the body it is difficult to lie. It can be learned, yes, but how many times, looking at politicians, for example, do we see that the learned, rehearsed gestures of the so-called open and desirable, are artificial, ridiculous, have the opposite effect? Let's not repeat these mistakes. One should not let oneself go crazy. It is good to become aware of one's own gestures, facial expressions (check in the mirror!), read here and there, and then learn to interpret the speech of other bodies! Priceless. You can avoid unpleasant situations, make the right decision faster. Not forgetting the other elements - tone of voice, tone and content of words. At the very end? Yes, but not always. In a word : yes, but not completely. And what to do with this phantom now? It's simple : first knowledge, then learning. And, of course, : lots and lots of practice. A big mirror and a bucket of self-criticism will also come in handy.
