I work in the psychodynamic approach, both short- and long-term.
I work with people who are experiencing a broadly understood crisis in their private and professional lives.
I support people who struggle with difficulties in dealing with emotions, have problems in close relationships, as well as those who experience feelings of loneliness and low self-esteem.
I also work with psychiatrists to comprehensively help in the healing process.
I work with Adults, Youth and Children (from 11 years of age).
Experience and qualifications
Education
Graduate of Master's degree in Clinical Psychology at SWPS University in Warsaw.
Graduate of Bachelor's degree in General Psychology at Roehampton University in London.
Four-year postgraduate studies at the Psychoeducation Laboratory, which has a recommendation from the Psychotherapy Section of the Polish Psychological Association and a certificate from the Polish Psychiatric Association (currently 3rd year).
Certificate of completion of training in Social Skills Training for Children and Youth, obtained at Przystań Psychologiczna in Warsaw.
Professional experience
I currently work at the Dajemy Dzieciom Siłę Foundation in the team of psychologists and therapists Dzieci w Sieci.
I completed my clinical internship at the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology in the 1st Psychiatric Clinic in the general psychiatric ward F1 and at the Grochowski Hospital in the Department of Neurological Therapy and Rehabilitation.
I worked in the Mobile Social Support Team at the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology.
I also completed a psychological internship at the Vita Libera center, which helps people addicted to psychoactive substances.
Work methods and therapeutic philosophy
In the psychodynamic approach in which I work, together with the patient I try to understand difficult and incomprehensible behaviors, thoughts and feelings by recognizing, naming and experiencing emotions in the office. I also pay special attention to reactions flowing from the body, which helps in better understanding problems and increases the patient's self-awareness. The area of my interests and scientific research is complex trauma (C-PTSD), which enriches my approach to therapy with a holistic view.
